New Delhi: Sanjay Dutt's legal troubles are far from over. Ekta Kapoor has supposedly sued Sanjay Dutt for not paying back her dues after pulling out of a project a few yeaqrs ago.
According to a leading daily, Producer Ekta Kapoor in collaboration with Suneil Shetty had signed Sanjay Dutt for a film. Later however, the actor pulled out of the project due to Ekta backing Sanjay Gupta's 'Shootout at Wadala'.
The report added that Ekta had already paid a hefty sum of Rs 1.5 crore to Dutt and has been asking for the money back ever since. Suneil had tried to intervene in the matter and spoke to Manyata. But sources reveal that the intervention was to no avail.
Ekta has now filed a court case against the actor for the payment of the said amount.
Dutt, who is currently in Yerawada jail, is serving a sentence for his involvement in the Mumbai blasts in 1993.
