Eva Mendes’ real-life training for waitress role in upcoming flick

London: Eva Mendes is said to have disguised herself as a waitress at a diner in New York to prepare herself for a role in her upcoming movie.

The 37-year-old American actress will be playing a waitress in the bank heist drama ‘The Place Beyond The Pines’, alongside Ryan Gosling, 30 and Bradley cooper, 36.

According to the Times-Union, the ‘Ghost Rider’ star took up real-life training by working a shift at the Route 7 diner in Albany to prepare herself for serving customers, and manager Colleen Noble was impressed with her efforts.

“Only a few customers recognised her. She was a very nice person and very polite. I was very pleased they picked my diner. It worked out great,” the Daily Express quoted Noble as saying.
