Fergie focusing on business ventures during Black Eyed Peas hiatus
London: Fergie wants to make good use of her group Black Eyed Peas’ hiatus, as she plans to focus her energy on her business ventures.
The hip hop group announced in July that they were going to take a break, and they started their time off after their world tour, which came to a close in Miami, Florida on Nov 23.
Rapper will.i.am is working on his solo career, while the 36-year-old hip hop star whose original name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, will be concentrating on her other projects, which include perfumes and a shoe range.
“I really want to focus on my solo business ventures next year,” the Daily Express quoted the singer as telling Vegas Magazine.
“I’ve got my third Avon fragrance in the bottle, so I’m excited about that, as well as another great season coming together for my Fergie Footwear line.
“I’m very involved. I work closely with the Brown shoe team and my stylist, Bea Akerlund, overseeing all of the designs.
“We meet several times a year to go over trends and new ideas,” she added.
