London: TV host and former Bollywood star Tania Zaetta has revealed that she would continue to promote Australia in India after public nuisance charges against her were dropped.
Zaetta had briefly appeared in court on the Gold Coast, where police dropped the charges relating to an incident in a Surfers Paradise nightclub.
“Naturally I`m annoyed at being charged at all when the incident itself was unwarranted, waiting by myself on a public footpath to be collected by a friend,” a website quoted Zaetta as saying.
However, the actress said that she is now looking ahead.
“I can now get back to continuing to promote Australia as a great destination for Indian tourists and students and focus on a new exciting Australian film I``ll be starting in Melbourne in the next few weeks,” she added.
