New Delhi: ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star, Freida Pinto, who is to make her Bollywood debut in a yet unnamed movie directed by Navdeep Singh and Vikramaditya Motwane, has been cast opposite the ‘Kai Po Che!’ star Rajkumar Yadav.
Talking to a tabloid, a source says, “Now all eyes are on Freida as this film with Navdeep Singh and Vikramaditya Motwane will be her first Hindi project. Rajkumar has made a mark for himself with ‘Kai Po Che!’. In fact, the makers were waiting for its release before they could announce theirs.”
The insider also revealed that the Pinto has asked Motwane to be there on the sets throughout the shooting process.
“Since Navdeep wasn’t able to complete his last film with Abhay Deol and Genelia D’souza, he wanted a clause in the contract. If anything goes haywire, then Vikram will have to come on board as the director and complete the film,” the source added.
