London: Freida Pinto has no qualms in shooting another film with her real-life boyfriend Dev Patel, but her only condition is that they should play onscreen enemies.
The pair catapulted to fame in Danny Boyle``s multi-Oscar winning 2008 movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, and it was later revealed that they``d fallen in love on set and were a couple.
In 2010, Patel had insisted that their real-life romance would make it impossible for them to shoot another film together as it would be "too awkward" to act opposite each other, but now the 27-year-old actress has revealed that she``d willingly work with her beau if they were given roles as arch rivals.
“I don``t think Dev and I are looking to do another film together. The only reason is there are such high expectations attached to the chemistry that we built in Slumdog Millionaire and it``s hard to live up to that, so we don``t want to run that risk,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling The New Review.
“If we did do anything, the film would have to do the opposite of what we did in Slumdog. We``d have to be enemies!” she added.
