Ganesh Chaturthi: Bollywood too joins the festivities
Mumbai: Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur reached Lalbaugh to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha before the immersion and says it was the world`s most exciting place to be, while Shabana Azmi recalled that the Ganapathi festival, which concluded Sunday, formed a big part of her childhood.

Remebering her childhood days Shabana Azmi wrote: "Last Visarjan today. Ganpati celebrations form a big part of my childhood memories in Girgaum. visiting Sarvajanik Mandals. Gangajamuni tehzeeb."
Kabir Bedi: "Ganapati Visarjan final day! I`ll be joining crowds on Juhu Beach to celebrate the countless immersions of brilliantly coloured Ganeshas," he posted.
