Gary Oldman feared for career after losing script

London: Actor Gary Oldman says he feared his career would be over after he lost his copy of the script for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

The 54-year-old actor, who reprises his role as Commissioner Gordon in the third of director Christopher Nolan`s Batman films, was terrified the story would be leaked after he lost it in a hotel but eventually found the document under his bed, reported a website.

"I was in a panic for 20 minutes. I thought my career had ended, that I`d be thrown out of showbiz. There was paranoia around it as we live in an age with the internet and blogs, so it`s understandable," Oldman said.

The veteran actor also said that he couldn`t blame anyone else if the script, which was coloured red to prevent it being photocopied, had gone missing as they were all individually numbered for each cast member.
