Gibson’s lawyer dismisses reports of 100,000 dollar windfall to ex’ son

‘Mad Max’ star Mel Gibson’s lawyer has denied reports of the star paying his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva’s teenage son 100,000 dollars to stop him from suing the actor over a heated fight between the former couple in 2009.

Washington: ‘Mad Max’ star Mel Gibson’s lawyer has denied reports of the star paying his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva’s teenage son 100,000 dollars to stop him from suing the actor over a heated fight between the former couple in 2009.
The 55-year-old actor had split from Oksana last year, with whom he had a daughter, Lucia. According to reports, Grigorieva’s son Alexander Dalton, from her relationship with former ‘James Bond’ star Timothy Dalton, was present during the clash, although he is not thought to have actually witnessed the bust-up. Grigorieva who had earlier accused the actor of beating her, subsequently dropped her allegations of domestic violence and they settled their bitter custody battle over young Lucia last month. Mel has been ordered to pay his ex a total of $750,000 (£468,750) in three equal installments over the next five years. “Mel is paying exactly the sums set forth to (Grigorieva) - and is paying no additional sums to Alexander Dalton or anyone else. How OG (Grigorieva) chooses to have any sums due from Mel allocated is her business.” Contactmusic quoted Gibson’s spokesman as saying. ANI
