Born on April 7, 1942, this veteran actor has left his mark in Indian cinema with his innumerable skills – charming looks, dancing and impeccable acting. His star-studded career in Bollywood spanned for almost three decades – from 1960s to 1990s – during which he was paired with the best actresses – Sridevi, Jaya Prada and Jaya Bachchan. During his golden years, Jeetendra gave many power-packed performances that turned out to be smashing hits at the box office. Movies like ‘Parichay’, ‘Himmatwala’ and ‘The Burning Train’ are still remembered by young and old as some of the best movies of Bollywood. Apart from his acting, his unique style of dancing – that gave him the name ‘Jumping Jack’ –is still remembered and emulated by almost one and all. This talented actor’s charm hasn’t faded with time as he is still as popular as he was in his yesteryears. He is the chairman of Balaji Telefims – which is one the biggest production houses in India. His daughter - Ekta Kapoor - and son – Tusshar Kapoor – are also members of the film fraternity, thereby carrying forward the name of this superstar of Bollywood.
