‘Harry Potter’ villain says fans are scared of him in real life!

London: Actor Tom Felton, who stars in the ‘Harry Potter’ series as evil villain Draco Malfoy, has revealed that his fans are scared of him when they meet him in real life.

Felton, 22, said that he regularly receives “negative looks” from the public, and that while the rest of the cast get hugs and handshakes, fans run and hide when they see him.

“Some people find it difficult to differentiate the real and the make believe,” the Mirror quoted him as telling Filmclub.

“A lot of people say “Leave Harry alone!” and youngsters tend to be very wary of me.

“We get a lot of kids down in the studios all the time and are very excited to meet Daniel, Rupert and Emma, and they get the handshakes and the hugs!

“I try to be as friendly as I can, but no matter how much I try they seem to hide behind their parents legs or cower behind some object.

“I don’t get a good rap from the children! I take it as a compliment, if they think I’m evil then I must be doing something right!” he added.
