Mumbai: Raja Chaudhary, who had several run-ins with the law in the past, says now he has changed and has become sincere towards his work.
"I am working. I am shooting for a serial and I am busy with that, so I don`t pay attention to other things. I have become sincere towards my work and don`t care about other things," Raja told reporters Tuesday at his birthday party here.
Raja constantly remained in news for wrong reasons. In 2010, he was arrested along with his girlfriend Shraddha Sharma for allegedly causing nuisance by fighting in public in an apartment in Mumbai. Later, the two were released.
Raja was married to actress Shweta Tiwari and has a daughter with her. The two got divorced in 2012.
In 2011, the Malad police registered a case against him after he barged into Shweta`s residence.
In 2012, Raja was arrested and later released on bail after creating ruckus outside a hospital in Jaipur.
He has acted in some serials like "Your Honour", "Daddy Samjha Karo", "Chandramukhi" and "Aane Wala Pal".
Raja even participated in the second season of reality show "Bigg Boss". On the show also, he courted controversy, courtesy his fights with co-participants Rahul Mahajan and Sambhavana Seth. He even used foul language during his stay on the show.
"I am trying best to quit drinking. I have taken a resolution on my birthday that I will lead my coming life without smoking and drinking and, of course, no more fights," he said.
Meanwhile, on being asked about ex-wife Shweta and daughter Palak, he said: "I wish that she is happy in her life and I am happy in my life. I wish my daughter very happy and bright future."
Shweta tied the knot with her boyfriend Abhinav Kohli on July 13.
