London, Jan 05: Legendary pop star Paul McCartney could soon be bumping into ex-wife Heather Mills on daily basis, as she is planning to buy a luxury New York mansion just three miles from his home.
Heather, who had a bitter divorce with McCartney, won 36.3 million dollars as the divorce settlement, noted as one of the costliest divorce settlements ion the entertainment history.
However, the former ‘Beatles’ member, who has found love withy businesswoman Nancy Shevell, does not seem to be affected by the fact that Heather might move in his neighborhood.
"It`s no secret that relations between Heather and Sir Paul remain strained. Paul has no problem with Heather having an American home. It makes things easier so far as sharing arrangements for their daughter Beatrice,” a news daily quoted a source as saying.
"But he feels he`s moved on with his life since finding love with Nancy. The prospect of Heather living in his shadow does not fill him with joy,” the source added.
On the other hand, Heather, who is currently dating personal trainer Jamie Walker, is eyeing up the opulent 2.5 million dollar estate in the exclusive Hamptons area of Long Island, New York, including 20 acres of land and a swimming pool.
