Hema Malini honoured with lifetime achievement award

Mumbai: Actress-politician Hema Malini has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Art and Cinema.

The actress was honoured by the Bank of Baroda on the occasion of its 108th Foundation Day on July 20.

"On the happy occasion of their 108th Foundation Day, Bank of Baroda bestowed on me the Lifetime Achievement Award for Art & Cinema" Hema tweeted on Tuesday.

The 66-year-old actress' star daughter Esha Deol received the award on her behalf as the ‘Sholay’ star is currently recovering from injuries she sustained in a road accident in Rajasthan, earlier this month.

"Again, Esha received the Award on my behalf at the function which took place yday - 20th July. Three other luminaries also recd awards," Hema tweeted.
