Mumbai: Looks like the sets of ‘Agneepath’ is jinxed. After news of a fire incident on the shoot location of this Karan Johar flick, fresh incident of an accident was reported on Monday. Shooting for film had to be stalled when Hrithik Roshan went bleary-eyed when he got gulaal thrown in his eyes.
Speaking to a daily, a unit member revealed, “The shooting was on in Versova on Monday afternoon for the Ganpati sequence that earlier saw the actor suffer minor burns while handling a thali as reported `All fired up`.
In this particular scene, some of the junior artistes got caught up in the moment and one of them flung colour in Duggu`s eyes.
The stunned actor began screaming in pain. Pandemonium followed even as director Karan Malhotra immediately stopped the shooting."
Karan made Hrithik sit down in a chair and called for a doctor immediately on the sets. "Water was splashed on the actor to wash the colour from his eyes. When that didn`t work, cold towels and cotton wool was brought in to wipe the gulal out. All this while, Hrithik was screaming in agony. A doctor was finally called in and painkillers were administered” added the source.
Shooting resumed after an hour. "This is the first time that something has happened to Duggu`s eyes and he was very shaken up about it. Producer Karan Johar wanted to wrap up for the day but Roshan insisted that he was fine and left the shoot only after his work was done. He visited his eye specialist yesterday to make sure everything was fine."
In the past, Priyanka’s lehenga had caught fire on the sets and Hrithik had also suffered minor burnt injuries. Let’s hope that the cast and crew of ‘Agneepath’ can work without facing any mishap in the future.
