Hugh Hefner`s longtime assistant dies
Los Angeles: Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner has paid tribute to his longtime assistant following her death.
The adult magazine tycoon took to his Twitter page to share the sad news about Mary O`Connor, who was his secretary for more than 40 years and appeared on his reality TV show `The Girls Next Door`, reported E! online.
He tweeted, "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say."
`The Girls Next Door` stars Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett and Bridget Marquardt all took to Twitter to give their condolences, along with Hefner`s new wife, Crystal Harris.
Madison wrote, "Rest In Peace Mary."
Harris said, "Hef`s long time secretary & my dear friend Mary O`Connor has passed away. It`s a very sad day here at the Playboy Mansion. We love you Mary."
The 86-year-old Playboy boss previously credited O`Connor with helping him reconcile with Harris after his bride-to-be called off their 2011 wedding just days before the ceremony.
