Mumbai: Actress Vidya Balan is extremely grieved to hear about the death of painter and artist MF Husain. She had left a wall empty in her house that awaited a painting of her from him.
‘No one killed Jessica’ star has expressed her condolence towards the artist and discussed her feelings with a daily.
“It was heartbreaking. We`d spoken twice, and I`ve met him once, when he attended the premiere of " Kismat Konnection" in Dubai. He wanted to narrate " Comedy. Com, the film he wanted to make with me. It`s about a woman who is very silent, but very sexy. I was busy, and when I was free, he got busy. I regret not having the time now.
The last time we spoke was five months ago, and he`d said I must come to Dubai, and he`ll narrate the script and also paint me. I`ve actually left a wall in my new house blank for the painting. He said he`ll begin shooting in 2011, and I must be ready, but it got shifted to 2012 as he had projects to finish. However long a life, for an artist as great, it still seems short. What a celebration of life, colour and glory. I`ll always cherish the fact that he wanted to make a film with me. Husainsaab will be dearly missed.”
