I am not proud of my work: George Clooney
London: Hollywood superstar George Clooney, who recently won the Golden Globe best actor award, says he is not proud of his body of works.
The `Descendants` actor said that the films which he did early in his professional life were some of "dumb" choices of his career, Contactmusic reported.
"I`ve certainly made some turkeys along the way and made some dumb choices in my career, mostly early on.
"I`m one of the lucky ones who got to make a lot of mistakes very early on when no one was paying attention. I did a lot of terrible TV shows and was really terrible in them, but nobody really noticed," he said.
The 50-year-old star also said he is currently enjoying writing and directing more than acting "I`ve had some success at writing and directing, and I like it. It`s infinitely more creative than just acting and I have things I want to say and do.
"I feel like I`ve been given these keys and the ability to drive the old man`s car and I know they`re going to take the keys away at some point, so I want to drive it as much as I possibly can," he added.
