I will host Golden Globes again if Sheen joins me, says Ricky Gervais
New York: Ricky Gervais has said that he will host the Golden Globes awards again – if Charlie Sheen is by his side.
The ‘Office’ creator linked off of his blog to Good Morning America’s excerpts of Sheen’s ‘20/20’ interview.
The British comedian quipped that he would host the Globes for the third year in a row – not to mention the Emmys and the Oscars -- if he could "do it with Charlie Sheen."
"I mean it," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.
"I’d write some gags like always, intro the presenters, then
after each acceptance speech I’d just chat to Charlie, who would just be sitting in an arm chair smoking, about what he thought of the result. He’d just say what’s on his incredible mind. It would be f---ing amazing."
In conclusion, the 49-year-old funnyman issued a request to anyone reading his blog who happened to be in Los Angeles, where erratic Sheen has appeared on "Today, "Piers Morgan Tonight," and live on TMZ.
