Imprisoned ‘Austin Powers’ baddie accused of murdering cellmate

London: ‘Austin Powers’ villian Joseph Son, who is currently serving a life sentence for torturing a woman in a brutal 1990 rape, is now suspected of murdering his prison cellmate.

Prison officials told TMZ that Son, who played ‘Random Task’ in 1997’s ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’, is now under investigation following the death of a 50-year-old sex offender, who was sharing a cell with Son at Wasco State Prison in central California.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was found dead on Monday. He was serving a two-year sentence for failing to register as a sex offender.

Son, 40, was former mixed martial artist, arrived at Wasco State Prison last month after he was sentenced in Orange County for the 1990 gang rape of a Southern California woman.
