Is Billy Ray jealous of daughter`s fame?

Los Angeles: Singer Billy Ray Cyrus has reportedly tried to steal the spotlight of his singer-actress daughter Miley Cyrus.

"He was always upset he didn`t get as much as attention as Miley. This is his way of stealing the spotlight," said a source. Billy had recently expressed his concern over Miley`s recent behaviour - including smoking salvia through a bong and throwing her 18th birthday party in a bar, which made him realised that people close to her are not looking after her properly. Billy said he`s "scared" she`ll wind up like other flamed-out icons Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith and Kurt Cobain. IANS
