Mumbai: Son of producer Boney Kapoor, Arjun, who forayed into the world of cinema with Yash Chopra’s ‘Ishaqzaade’ opposite to Parineeti Chopra in 2012, turned 28 today.
After an impressive debut, Arjun essayed dual roles in ‘Aurangzeb’, thereby proving his acting prowess yet again. The film boasted of an ensemble cast including veterans like Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh. Yet, the young man conveniently managed to cast his impression on the minds of his viewers.
The good-looking actor, who followed in the footsteps of his actor uncle Anil Kapoor, was indeed inspired by Salman Khan to take up acting as a career. Junior Kapoor, who once weighed over 140 kilos, turned fab from flab after Salman helped him discover the actor in him.
He had also assisted directors on projects like ‘Shakti: The Power’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ and ‘Wanted’.
Arjun will be seen in ‘Gunday’, a film produced yet again by the Yash Raj Films banner, along with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
The actor also has some plump projects in hand- ‘Two States’ with Alia Bhatt and an untitled project with Sonakshi Sinha.
Here’s wishing Arjun Kapoor a very happy birthday and success for all his future endeavours!
