Mumbai: They haven’t exchanged a word since 2008. And have avoided each other as plague ever since their infamous fall out took place. But on Monday, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan seemed to put their differences aside at the premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.
Salman, who had been openly supporting Ajay Devgn in the ‘Son of Sardar’ Vs ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ battle, attended the gala premiere of the latter, perhaps for Late Yash Chopra and ‘friend’ Katrina Kaif.
Salman made a late entry to the event but stayed on till the wee hours of the night and even attended the after party along with SRK, Anushka, Katrina, Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan.
Those who were present at the event stated that SRK and Salman were extremely cordial to each other and even danced together at the after party! Not just that, even Aamir Khan joined the revelry and it was surprising for other guests to see the Khan trio having fun together under the same roof after ages.
Amitabh Bachchan later tweeted, “Danced my shoes off with all the youngsters... An amazing evening... spending time with Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka.(sic)”
Another source, while speaking to a daily, said “Salman Khan came for the premiere pretty late. Shah Rukh had come early and was seen welcoming the guests. When they met, they were rather cordial to each other. They were seen chatting with Amitji for a long time. Salman and Aamir were seen catching up as well. It was rather nice to see the warring Khans let bygones be and come together for Yashji.”
Incidentally, Aishwarya Rai was also present at the event. But no one knows whether her paths crossed with those of Sallu’s.
