Jennifer Aniston broke down at animal rescue centre

Washington: Jennifer Aniston has admitted that she broke down in tears during a visit to an animal rescue centre, as she wanted to adopt more than one puppy.

The former Friends star and her boyfriend Justin Theroux went to a shelter to pick out a new dog, but the actress became emotional when it came to choosing just one new pet. The couple eventually decided to take home a three-month-old Boxer-Pitbull-mix puppy, and Aniston named her Sophie after comparing her experience at the rescue centre to Meryl Streep`s haunting 1982 movie Sophie’s Choice. “We ran over (to the shelter). Sophie came right up to us... and then we were there for three hours! I was almost walking out with three puppies. That``s why we named her Sophie cause it was Sophie’s Choice. I was crying, it was so hard,” the Daily Express quoted her as teeling America’s ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’. ANI
