Jessica Alba sues weight loss firm for illegally using her name and image

Washington: Jessica Alba is suing a company for using her name and image without her permission to sell a post pregnancy weight-loss device.

Alba, 30, claimed that she had never endorsed the product and had been listed among a number of people who had used the product, which helps new mothers get rid of baby weight.

According to, the ‘Fantastic Four’ star is suing Belly Bandit for more than 1 million dollars and also demanding a cut of the cash Belly Bandit bosses made while using her name, reports Contactmusic.

As per the lawsuit, Belly Bandit’s packaging even features an endorsement that reads, “Jessica Alba’s No. 2 Secret for a Fast Post Pregnancy Slimdown!”
