Jessie J hospitalised for ligament injury

London: Pop star Jessie J was rushed to the hospital after she fell off a platform at Wembley Stadium, while rehearsing for her upcoming Summertime Ball gig.

The 23-year-old singer, who was putting the finishing touches to her routine for the performance at the legendary London venue, slipped and fell, tearing a major ligament in her foot, reported Daily Mail online.

However, the injured star was quick to reassure her fans, whom she calls `Heartbeats`, about her performance.

"I have ripped a main ligament in my foot and have been put on crutches and told to rest. I`m in a lot of pain," wrote Jessie on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The `Price Tag` hitmaker added, "Don`t get it twisted! I`m gonna be singing tomorrow at #STB even if I have to crawl, be carried or be wheeled onto stage! My foot is 3 times its normal size but my #heartbeats rule and I will not let you down! (sic)"

Other stars at the Summertime Ball include Nicole Scherzinger, JLS, Jennifer Lopez and Cee Lo Green, among others.
