Jiah Khan suicide: Family speaks about autopsy report, Sooraj Pancholi

Mumbai: Amidst the din surrounding Jiah Khan’s suicide, her family speaks about her passing away and the truth associated with the autopsy report.
Jiah’s mother, Rabia Amin, has refuted rumours that her daughter was suffering from severe depression and on medication.
Talking to a leading daily, Rabia said: “Reports that my daughter was depressed because of work is all rubbish. She was fine, she was sincere, pure and not manipulative at all. She could not stand lies.”
According to Jiah’s sisters Karisma and Kavita, the actress was a “hopeless romantic” and their mother went on to add, “Deception and lies from the only one she loved the most. I am not being revengeful but telling the truth she fell for a wrong guy.”
Jiah was apparently not happy in her relationship with Sooraj, actor Aditya Pancholi’s son, thereby dismissing the allegation that a dull film career could have led her to take such a drastic step.
Khan’s family wants Sooraj to speak up and let them know what exactly happened between him and Jiah on the ill-fated night.
Jiah committed suicide at her Juhu residence on June 3. She was found hanging at her flat in Sagar Sangeet Building in the posh Juhu area of northwest Mumbai around midnight.
Jiah shot into the limelight in 2007 with her debut movie `Nishabd` in which she starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan.
She got a Filmfare Best Debutant nomination for the Ram Gopal Varma movie in which she plays a teenager besotted with a man old enough to be her father.
