Actor Jim Carrey is reportedly facing legal action after he failed to pay insurance for his workers at his New York art studio.

Los Angeles: Actor Jim Carrey is reportedly facing legal action after he failed to pay insurance for his workers at his New York art studio.
The 51-year-old funnyman launched his art studio in 2011 and has been fined by the Workers` Compensation Board of the State of New York for failing to carry workers` compensation insurance for last year, reported TMZ.
He has been charged with a hefty fine of USD 72,000 by the board, but has allegedly failed to pay and now he has been hit with a lawsuit.
A representative for Carrey said, "This is a clerical error on their part and will be cleared up immediately."
