JK Rowling mulling to build Hagrid`s hut in her back garden
London: ‘Harry Potter’ author JK Rowling is planning to construct a building in the garden of her Edinburgh mansion that would look like one of her character`s strange home.
Just like Hagrid`s lodge, where he accidentally tells many things to Harry, Ron and Hermione whenever they visit, the building will have a conical roof, a spire, a chimney and stone steps up to the front door, reports the Daily Mail.
The `lodge` will be built at the bottom of the writer`s formal Renaissance-style gardens at the site where there is currently a house.
The proposed garden room will not be used as a separate dwelling and it is being built for the pleasure of Rowling and her family.
