Joan and Melissa Rivers call Lady Gaga `a hypocrite`

New York: US TV personality Joan Rivers has called Lady Gaga “a hypocrite,” after the singer posted an open letter claiming that her hit show, E!’s Fashion Police, bred negativity.

The 79-year-old comedian said that anyone who had worn a pastrami dress or sat in an egg should have known about humour, the New York Post reported.

Joan asserted that the 26-year-old pop diva knew exactly what she’s doing, she was not selling and they hadn’t even been talking about her until now.

Her daughter, Melissa, disclosed that Kelly Osbourne had received horrible threats from Gaga’s fans and they communicated privately about it and just months later Gaga had responded publicly?

Melissa said that their show is a comedy and its satire was in the truest form.

She said that so many horrible things were going on in the world, they just needed to laugh.

Joan chimed in by saying that it was time to start laughing as they had been doing for the past fifty years.

She said that Gaga should worry about the maggots in her brain from the meat dress!

Joan also disclosed that she had told Osborne that it was a good thing, as it meant that Gaga was watching their show, adding that Gaga was welcome in their show.
