Los Angeles: A red carpet will reportedly be rolled out at the funeral of comedienne Joan Rivers.
The 81-year-old funnywoman died after she was removed from life support following a cardiac and respiratory arrest on August 28.
The rug, which Rivers' family and friends will walk upon outside Temple Emanu-El in the New York City on September 7, will then be buried with the star, reportedly.
"A lot of celebrities confirmed. Only certain individuals will be allowed to roll it out," a source said.
The late 'Fashion Police' host wanted her funeral to be a grand affair, as evident from an excerpt from her 2012 book 'I Hate Everyone... Starting with Me'.
"When I die (and yes, Melissa, that day will come; and yes, Melissa, everything's in your name,) I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action," she had written.
