Washington: John Stamos’ extortionists have been found guilty of conspiracy and have been sentenced to five years behind bars.
Scott Sippola, 31, and Allison Coss, 24, were convicted after the FBI launched a sting operation last year and it was discovered the duo was attempting to release incriminating photos unless Stamos paid them, reports a news website. The extortionists contacted Stamos via email and demanded 680,000 dollars from the actor in exchange for keeping the photos and information private. An affidavit from an FBI agent said that Stamos, identified as "Mr X", attended a party with Coss in 2004 during which photos were taken. Sippola is the owner of Matrixx nightclub in Marquette, Michigan and according to previous reports, Coss was a former employee and the two eventually had a romantic relationship. However, Stamos’ attorney claimed the photos never existed and no pictures were ever found by FBI agents. ANI
