John Travolta taking shelter from groping scandal in Bahamas
New York: John Travolta, who recently got embroiled in a flurry of sexual assault charges, has reportedly been keeping a low profile at his Bahama vacation home.
According to E! News, as recently as this week, the ‘Saturday Night Fever’ star was riding out his groping scandal with wife Kelly Preston and their two kids at a vacation home on a remote Bahamian island, the New York Daily News reported.
The residence is, however, not the same location where Travolta’s 16-year-old son Jett suffered a fatal seizure in 2009.
Before the Bahamas, the 58-year-old actor reportedly was holed up at his home in the gated Jumbolair aviation community near Ocala, Fla., as his lawyer battled groping allegations from two masseurs seeking millions in federal court.
Rumour mills have been abuzz with the recent state of Travolta’s marriage, but Preston has not commented publicly beyond praising her husband of two decades for the Mother’s Day video he made her — a 4-minute montage of dozens of private family snapshots.
Meanwhile, the 'Pulp Fiction' star has denied allegations from a growing cast of men claiming that the actor surprised them with sexual advances during massages or other travel-related encounters.
