Washington: Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has been honoured for completing 10 years as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.
The ‘Salt’ star was vested with the honour by the United Nations refugee agency in Switzerland for her humanitarian work at a ceremony attended by government officials, diplomats and aid workers.
“It is an honour to work on behalf of refugees, and I look forward to the next 10 years,” Contactmusic quoted the actress as saying.
“I’m so grateful to the many refugee families that I have had the honour and privilege to spend the last years with. From them I’ve learned so much. I’ve learned to become a better person, a better mother,” she added.
