London: Academy award winning actress Judi Dench has been honoured with a Crystal Globe for her outstanding contribution to world cinema.
The 76-year-old `Bond` star, who launched the Karlovy Vary Film festival in the Czech Republic on Friday, was handed the top prize, reported Contactmusic.
The veteran actress was in the city to introduce her new film `Jane Eyre`, which was picked to open the 46th annual international event.
The event was also attended by Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
`The Big Lebowski` star John Turturro is set to be recognised with the President award at the festival, which ends on the July 9.
