Justin Bieber could face six months in prison

Los Angeles: Teen sensation Justin Bieber, who has been accused of roughing up a photographer outside a shopping centre, could face up to six months in jail if he is charged and convicted. The investigation is still in early stages, but police reportedly have already decided to refer the case to the LA County DA for possible criminal prosecution, which is quite common for high-profile cases, reported Ace Showbiz. However, Bieber, 18, and his camp remained mum on the matter. Instead, the Canadian pop star released a brand new single called `Die in Your Arms` and jetted off to Europe for a so-called `PHASE 1 of operation secret concerts!`. The scuffle allegedly happened when the photographer tried to snap pictures of Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez, after they walked out of a cinema hall at The Commons in Calabasas. During the altercation, the pop star appeared angry and frustrated with Gomez trying to calm him down. PTI
