Happy Birthday Kareena Kapoor Khan!

New Delhi: One of the most versatile actresses of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates her 34th birthday today. The actress, who is fondly called 'Bebo' is still the choice of many filmmakers despite wearing a 'married' tag.

Born to yesteryears superstars Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Kareena had a filmy link much before she entered the industry. Being born in the first family of Bollywood, the Kapoor family, acting literally runs in her blood.

Bebo made her Bollywood debut with ace filmmaker JP Dutta's 2000 film 'Refugee' opposite none other than the junior Bachchan. And since then there is no looking back for the actress who has played a variety of characters in a range of film genres. From contemporary romantic films to crime dramas, Kareena has tried her hand in almost all the genres.

Kareena's initial success was followed by a series of failures. But negative reviews never bothered the actress and she kept her work going. The 'Heroine' of Bollywood, has received six Filmfare awards and has established herself as one of the most sought after actresses in the industry.

In almost a decade-and-half long career, the actress has created a niche for herself in the so-called male dominated industry. She has worked in several superhit films including- 'Omkara', 'Jab We Met', 'Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham', '3 Idiots' and 'Chameli'.

Married to superstar Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's personal and family life has also become a subject of widespread media coverage.
