Katharine Hepburn’s Long Island estate listed for $28m

London: Academy Award-winning actress Katharine Hepburn’s former northern Long Island estate, divided into three plots, has gone to the market for 28 million dollars.

One may purchase the house separately, which is located on the largest of three lots, paying 18 million dollars, reports the Telegraph. The owners, who bought the property seven years ago for 6 million dollars, have renovated the house by combining rooms to make them larger and spacious. The house previously had 21 rooms and nine bathrooms but the number is now reduced to 15 rooms and 7 bathrooms. Hepburn lived there until her death in 2003 at the age of 96. ANI
