London; Kerry Katona`s estranged husband Mark Croft has been comforting her over her split from boyfriend Adam Waldron.
Kerry, who dumped her beau last week, has since had a string of heart-to-heart phone calls with Croft in which he has apparently apologized for his behaviour during their marriage.
"I still love Kerry, and want to win her back," the Mirror quoted Croft as telling friends.
"I want to prove to Kerry that I am a decent person, and I think we have got a chance of making things work," he told a pal.
Kerry and Croft split in March.
On Friday, Kerry posted a Facebook message saying: "Everyone has their ups and downs and they think they cant cope but they have some amazing people that help them get through it and I would like to thank them all."
Hours later, a friend revealed: ?As soon as she dumped Adam, Mark was on the phone to her.
"They`ve been talking nearly every day. It`s been easy for them to reconnect. Kerry`s even given him back his stereo she took when they split. We all know he is no good for her. Having him back in her life can only end in trouble. But Kerry has turned her life round since splitting from Mark. We hope she won?t go back to him," said friend.
However, a spokeswoman of Kerry denied the rumours.
She said: "Kerry has spoken to Mark ? but about the children. She was in Warrington dropping the children off. She will not go back to Mark."
