Kevin Bacon` twitter account hacked

London: Actor Kevin Bacon has warned fans to beware of hoax posts on his Twitter account.

The `Mystic River` actor discovered that his social networking page had been accessed by imposters on January 22 after he saw an advertisement on weightloss product being promoted by him on his page, a newspaper reported.

Bacon, 53, immediately reached out to his followers to distance himself from the tweets, insisting he has nothing to do with the dieting aid he appears to be promoting.

"Hey if anyone gets anything from me about losing weight, ignore! It`s not me. Besides, I think you look great," he posted.
