Kim Kardashian’s wedding celebrations cut short by stuffy neighbours

New York: Kim Kardashian’s lavish wedding party was shut down early after stuffy neighbours called the cops, complaining about the noise.

The 30-year-old American socialite tied the knot with NBA star Kris Humphries in a huge tent set out on a sprawling Montecinto estate, but the speeches, music, dinner and celebrations were cut short by authorities at midnight following complaints from local residents.

“Around midnight DJ Cassidy, who had been spinning for an hour, was ordered to shut down because the neighbours were complaining about the volume of the music,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

“The neighbours didn’t come over, but they called the police.

“Kim took the news OK and seemed relaxed about it, but her sister Khloe was pretty upset and making a bit of a scene.

“She kept talking to the wedding planner to see if there was anything they could do, but there wasn’t. But the party kept going anyway and most people stayed until about 2 a.m.

“Despite the early end to the dancing, everyone had a great time, and Kim looked beautiful and very happy,” the source added.
