Kylie Minogue ‘to celebrate beating breast cancer with charity concert’
London: Kylie Minogue, who has been given the all-clear from breast cancer, is planning a charity fund-raiser to mark the fifth anniversary of beating the disease.
She is planning a star-studded concert to raise money for cancer charities and awareness of the condition that she battled so bravely.
The event has been provisionally scheduled for February and a word of mouth has been spread about it already.
A host of her pals including Elton John, Robbie Williams and The Scissor Sisters are expected to get on board.
And Kylie, 42, also wants to invite the Paris-based doctor who masterminded her treatment to say thank you for her return to health.
“Early next year it will be my five years all clear and I would like to do something to mark that – something like a benefit concert. We are going to try and arrange something with my professor in Paris,” the Mirror quoted the star as saying.
