Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is set to receive an honorary degree from Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford for her work on promoting breast cancer awareness.

London: Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is set to receive an honorary degree from Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford for her work on promoting breast cancer awareness.
Minogue, 43, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and underwent chemotherapy before being told the illness is in remission. Ever since, she has worked tirelessly to promote awareness of the disease. The singer will be made a Doctor of Health Sciences by staff at the university later this week in honour of her achievements, the Daily Star reported.
