A federal magistrate has reportedly ruled that the financial settlement between Lady Gaga and her former boyfriend.

New York: A federal magistrate has reportedly ruled that the financial settlement between Lady Gaga and her former boyfriend and producer Rob Fusari shall be kept private as it could harm their respective reputations.
The Magistrate added that even the details about the star`s personal life, should be kept under seal. Gaga`s friend Wendy Starland had filed a lawsuit accusing Fusari, a music executive of breaking his verbal promise in 2006 to compensate her for finding Gaga and `assisting in the development of her musical style and persona`, the New York Daily News reported. Though Stefani Germanotta (Gaga) has not been implicated in the lawsuit, her lawyer Sandra Cranshaw-Sparks, told the magistrate in a letter that disclosure of `sensitive, private and personal information would do great harm to Gaga`s personal and professional reputation`. Starland`s lawyers had been pressing Fusari for months to provide detailed information about his financial deals with Gaga, including details of how they settled a 2010 lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court where Gaga accused Fusari of taking too big a cut of her income, in violation of New York law. The magistrate has allowed the information to be disclosed in the Starland case, but is keeping it from the public. ANI
