Lady Gaga visits orphanage on India trip

London: Lady Gaga has revealed that she wants to open her own foundation for disadvantaged kids and is using her trip to India to find out more about children’s homes.

The singer is in India to perform at an after party for India’s first ever Grand Prix.

Despite only having a few hours off every day while she’s in India, she visited an orphanage in New Delhi minus her flashy makeup, clad in just jeans and a T-shirt.

“Gaga would one day like to set up a foundation in her name to help children and, now her career has really taken off, she feels as if it’s the right time to do something,” The Sun quoted a source as saying.

“She knows it will be a massive amount of work but she wants to start by getting involved in some orphanages that already exist and devote some of her time and money to helping them,” the source added.
