Lennon, Harrison’s school bans fans` photographs over safety fears

London: Beatles’ fans will no more be allowed to snap the playground of a Liverpool school attended by John Lennon and George Harrison, because of objections raised by students’ parents.
Tens of thousands of fans from around the world visit the Dovedale Junior School, but now they have been barred from taking pictures of the pupils on the playground. However, photographing the building is still allowed. "At times it can be quite difficult to explain that taking photographs while the children are out on the playground is not allowed as many of the tourists are foreign and the language barrier can be a difficulty," the Daily Star quoted head teacher Nik Smith, as saying. "We thought that a sign is universal and is self explanatory. We do try to encourage tourists to come to the front of the buildings to take a photograph where there are no children," Smith added. ANI
