Leonardo DiCaprio granted 3-year restraining order against stalker

London: Leonardo DiCaprio has been granted a three-year restraining order from a woman who the actor said claims to be his wife and carrying his baby.

During a brief hearing, a Los Angeles judge ordered that Livia Bistriceanu should keep herself at a distance from the actor.

Court filings mentioned that the lady traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles and behaved aggressively when she appeared at DiCaprio’s home and business office recently, reports the Telegraph.

In the absence of Bistriceanu from court, the judge ordered temporary restraining to the lady who has been twice placed on psychiatric hold.

The ‘Titanic’ star stated in court proceedings that he was frightened of the 41-year-old woman as she presented a threat to his personal safety.
