Melbourne: One Direction star Liam Payne recently had a meltdown on Twitter and tweeted 11 times in 23 minutes, after he was slammed by a gay rights activist for his "love" for `Duck Dynasty`.
The popstar had sparked controversy when he tweeted to ` Duck Dynasty` star Willie Robinson saying that he has huge love and respect for their business and family and how they behold their values, News.co.au reported. Gay rights activist Tyler Oakley picked up on Payne`s tweet and said that it is very confusing and disappointing that the singer tweeted something like that, and it "literally changes everything". The 20-year-old One Direction member apologized on the micro-blogging site and said that being a fan of a show and how one holds their family together doesn`t mean showing support for their comments. Payne then came back online and continued to rant on the site saying that he is a just a 20-year-old who is living life as everyone else did when they were of that age, but in extraordinary circumstances. He added that "lazy journalists" should "pick their balls off the floor" and get on with their lives, instead of taking advantage of every word he says and twisting it for personal gain. (
