Lil Wayne sued for USD 1 million

London: Rap superstar Lil Wayne has been slapped with a new lawsuit over allegations of unpaid royalties stemming from a 2008 collaboration with T-Pain.

Production duo Play-N-Skillz provided the beat for `Got Money`, the 28-year-old rapper`s popular single with T-Pain, but claim they are owed at least USD 1 million, reported Contactmusic.

Play-N-Skillz first brought up the issue of non-payment in 2009, but the two parties have failed to make any progress in the months since, forcing the producers to file a suit this month.

It`s the second legal battle stemming from `Tha Carter Iii` to surface within a week. Producer David Kirkwood recently launched legal action over allegations of outstanding payments and royalties surrounding sales of the hit album.
