Lil Wayne to pen new prison memoir to revisit dark memories

Washington: Lil Wayne will open up about his life behind bars in a new prison memoir.

The ‘Lollipop’ hitmaker walked free from the Rikers Island complex in New York on 4 November, 2010 after serving an eight-month sentence on weapons possession charges dating back to 2007, a website reported.

The 29-year-old rapper will now revisit the dark experience with the help of his jail house diaries and journals to write ‘Gone Till November’.

The book, which will be released in partnership with Grand Central Publishing, will hit stores in November 2012 to mark the two-year anniversary of his release.
